I’ve covered Liverpool parades before – 2001 and 2005 for example, 2019 too. But I’ve never, ever seen anything like this!
Five years ago under Jurgen Klopp Liverpool won the Premier League trophy, but none of the fans could share the moment with the players [due to the Covid restrictions].
So today is about celebrating 2020 AND 2025.

Liverpool are back on their perch! And we’re going to see a lot more days like this in years to come.
A lot of Scousers have grown up with strories from their parents and grandparents about the days of Shankly, Paisley, Dalglish etc.
Well today is this generation’s day – for them to talk about for years to come.
