Jacksonville family asks for community’s help after ‘unimaginable loss’ of mother of 7 killed in crash

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 29-year-old Jacksonville woman remembered as a “light to everyone she knew” was identified as the victim in a Sunday morning crash, according to a GoFundMe.

Shantel Ennis died after the truck she was traveling in slammed into a crash barrier near Riverside Avenue and the Acosta Bridge, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The GoFundMe account created for Ennis described the mother of seven as a “beautiful soul,” who loved to laugh, pull pranks on others and share meals with loved ones.

She was a talented makeup and lash artist and a bride-to-be with a “vibrant personality and warm heart” that touched not only her friends and family but the entire community.

“Now, in this time of unimaginable loss, we are asking for help to give her the homegoing service she deserves,” the GoFundMe read.

The 38-year-old driver and a 1-year-old child were also hurt in the crash.
